Professional Development at Events?

Those of you closely following the community news will have seen that we supported our community colleagues at the All Energy event last week. 

 

Do you like to be able to talk informally talk to PD staff at such events, or do you attend predominantly for the technical seminars and lectures and to network with technical professionals?  Which events do you attend?

    We get plenty of retired engineers to our events, especially those involving steam or beer, but put on CPD and we are pretty much on our own. Can we do more to get local industry to encourage their younger engineers to participate in our local CPD events?
