  • It's worth pointing out, especially while the IET HQ is located temporarily within the IMechE HQ on Birdcage Walk, that the IMechE library contains a good selection of books on tribology. IET members can borrow books from the IMechE library under a cross-sharing agreement. Although both libraries use the Dewey system, the numbering systems are quite different - they ought to put an engineer in charge of that! Fortunately the IMechE tribology books can be found easily, either side of the second armchair on the right when you enter. If you make it that far up the stairs, it's a good place to stop for a breather. So, if you're in London and need a break from business or tourism, you can spend a few minutes browsing a great selection of old and new tribology books.
