We have been approached by a school in London for a volunteer to have an informal chat with some of their year 9 students at their STEM Careers Fair, to promote careers in which women are still vastly underrepresented. They would like to demonstrate to their students the vast range of careers available in these areas before they make their GCSE choices.
I wondered if anyone from the IET women’s network would be available to come along and join them to chat informally about Women going into STEM career paths? The event details are as follows:
Date: Wednesday, 18 November
Time: 6.30 pm: arrival and welcome
7pm: event starts
8.30 pm: event finishes
Place: Senior Hall, Wimbledon High School, London.
