As part of #TEWeek15, the IET will be hosting an ‘Ask the Engineers’ Twitter party in partnership with Mumsnet today. Parents and children are invited to tweet in their engineering questions at 1pm GMT for a panel of engineers to answer using #AskTheEngineers.
If parents would like to take part, they can tweet in their child’s question @TheIET using #AskTheEngineers or send in videos and written out questions from their children, so they can ask questions themselves. There’s a chance to win a voucher for the best submission. If not on Twitter, parents can still follow the conversation by reading the live Twitter feeds on Mumsnet.
‘Ask the Engineers’ is part of the IET’s Engineer a Better World campaign, designed to inspire the next generation of engineers and technicians by encouraging young people and their parents to nurture their curiosity and think differently about careers in engineering.
