Sheffield Hallam University are putting an event on to celebrate Ada Lovelace day on 15th October from 3pm till 6pm. The event is aimed at female students, staff and external businesses.
They are looking for some influential women in technology who might be willing to come and speak at the event. If you are an IET Member and this is something that you would be interested in supporting, please contact me at womensnetwork@theiet.org with a brief bio on yourself (just a few lines) and I shall forward your contact details onto the Senior Lecturer who is organising this and she will be in contact with you.
This is a Department of Computing event and their main sponsor will be SAP (hopefully). They are very keen to have a someone from the IET involved in this project.
