The speakers will describe the factors that encouraged them to pursue a career in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM ); how a general day of work looks like; their greatest experiences in industry, challenges and achievements; support from mentoring figures. Also they will present the keys to become successful engineers, habits to grow to be winners in professional and personal lives and ways to increase the power of persuasion and get on others’ wavelengths to get the message across and create “win-win’ situations. As the completion of university degree approaches, the students start wondering whether the transition into the workplace or onto other endeavors will be a smooth one and the speakers aim to offer some solutions.
