Free Masters degrees for aspiring female engineers

Should more universities be doing this, if they are not already?  This seems like a very good incentive.

UCL is offering to waive fees on a range of engineering Masters degrees in a bid to encourage more women into the sector.

The initiative forms part of the university's wider £500,000 programme to support under-represented groups, such as carers, those with children, those with no history of private education, and, in the case of engineering, women, to progress on to postgraduate study.

    Hi Jenny,

I think that it would be worth you speaking with somebody at UCLA regarding this.  There are contact details withing the article.  Alternatively, it may be a good idea to speak with our benevolent fund - IET Connect.  They may be able to help you regarding financial support.

    Kind regards,

    Jo
