Hello,

I received the following from somebody that works in the fashion industry and wondered if anybody could help answer her questions.

''Hi

I am writing a piece for my blog Fashion Abecedaire on whether and how women's magazines represent women in engineering.

I am looking for a few people to answer questions like, "What are your restrictions on how to dress at work? Which magazines do you read and do you recognise yourself in the jobs featured? Why or why not?"

If you'd like to participate - on or off the record, I'm on fashionmemex[at]gmail.com

    Hello,

Thank you once again to those of you that took part in this blog.  Here is a message that I have received from  the blogger, Lucie:

    Dear all

Thank you so much for sharing your experience for my article about female engineers and fashion.

The article is now published - you can read it here

What started as a short piece inspired by my sister is now 3,000 words and the longest thing I have written since my undergrad dissertation.

Although I wasn't able to quote all of you, your emails were very much in my mind as I was writing. I hope the end result is faithful to how you feel about fashion, your jobs and to the anecdotes you relayed.

Thank you again for your help.

    Best

    Lucie
