I thought I'd start this off smiley



I'm Lisa and I'm a member of staff at the IET. You'll see me all over MyCommunity as I'm one of the Community Relationship Managers looking after some of our communities and their online presence.



I also write a personal blog on MyCommunity called The Geekette where I share my geeky fascination with all things teccy and engineering related.



So welcome to the group and  I look forward to chatting with you!

    Hello, My names Rose. Im trans. And although I joined the group some time ago, I never introduced myself. Like many, I got the mail about how quiet the group is. So I thought I’d take the opportunity to share a little intro. I setup a lgbt+ network in a former automotive company (~43,000 employees). And transitioned in the workplace in June 2017. I did lots of research and volunteering. And as part of that I did visit this forum that was very quiet. And I got involved with InterEngineering. I’m pleased to see the changes that the IET are making, and increasing posts on this forum. Feel free to add me on LinkedIn. I don’t get notifications or check this forum to limit the demands on my time. But I do recognise the importance of saying a few words, and hopefully helping others.
