The Fun Maths Road Show has been developed by Liverpool University and Liverpool Mathematical Society to help 7 to 18 year old's experience mathematics in a different and "Fun" way. A "Show" involves pupils attempting up to 50 tactile or mental puzzles in 1 hour, guided by teachers, older pupils, professionals and academics who may volunteer to provide the guidance. All volunteers are asked to do is to say a few sentences about how mathematics is involved in their day to day work and assist in providing guidance (answers are provided). Assistance in setting up and collecting the puzzles would also be greatly appreciated. On Friday 10th June I will be holding two "Shows" in a Kilmarnock, Ayrshire Secondary School. One before and one after morning break. Should you be CRB approved and wish to volunteer a little of your time please let me know.
