First Event of the IET Islamabad Network

Assalam o Alaikum to All / Hello to All


As all you know that the IET Islamabad Network has been established and we are still in preparations to commence our first event.  Meanwhile, i would like to encourage all our members to take part in discussions here at the website of our community i.e. IET Islamabad Network.


Lets break the ice.  I start first.  To do any IET Event, we need to get prior approval from our next senior Committee i.e. CC-EMEA.  We had submitted a proposal of our first event of our Committee Meeting plus Technical Lectures but unfortunately, it was returned back due to the reason of high cost.


Now we are going to submit a revised proposal of our Committee Meeting at Islamabad possibly on coming August 2016.

    It is expected that the first official event of the IET Islamabad Local Network may commence on 2nd September 2016 at Islamabad in the evening, Insha Allah.  At first half, a Technical Lecture will be delivered and in second half, volunteer committee meeting will be commenced.

    Its good to see your post here.


    Well!  Dr.Jawad Saleem may deliver the lecture on "Energy crisis in Pakistan and how renewable energies can help to overcome the energy demand in Pakistan in context of CPEC Project".


    Dr.Jawad Saleem is an Associate Professor at COMSATS Institute of Information Technology - Abbotabad Campus and sitting Vice Chair of IET Islamabad Network.


    We shall formally announce the said lecture through IET Engineering Communities Website of the IET Islamabad Network soon.
