UTAR - CRIE Inaugural Symposium on Railway Infrastructure and Engineering

Dear Ir. Chris Chew,



With great pleasure, we would like to inform you that the Centre for Railway Infrastructure and Engineering (CRIE) at Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR) will be organizing the Inaugural Symposium for Railway Infrastructure and Engineering on 24 January 2018 at the Multipurpose Hall (MPH) in UTAR Sungai Long Campus. We welcome your attendance to our symposium and would greatly appreciate it if you could kindly disseminate the information among your colleagues. Attached is the flyer for your information.



 



The symposium is held in conjunction with the launching of our new research Centre for Railway Infrastructure and Engineering at UTAR. The aim of this symposium is to bring together academics, industry practitioners, researchers, and train operators to promote new research/economic initiatives in view of the escalating opportunities within the expanding rail sector in Malaysia and China’s One Belt One Road initiative in the region. It will provide a forum for exchange of ideas and opportunities to network with researchers, universities, practitioners and owners in areas such as railway infrastructures, safety and standards, operation safety, reliability and maintainability, social, environmental and economic issues, transportation and optimization of traffic control.
