    Hello,

I have 30 years experience in Digital Cellular, having started with a Racal/Plessey JV in 1988 to develop GSM handsets and infrastructure. That was acquired by Ericsson and I have been at the forefront of cellular ever since. Now is yet another inflection point for mobile comms, with the massive opportunity for the Internet of Things to do something else with cellular, to be disruptive (for good), as the IoT creates new ways of living in a continuously changing society.

I am an experienced electronics engineer/embedded platform developer. But we don't need to do that bit anymore - buy a Raspberry Pi, an IoT developer kit to sit on the Pi HAT, and get an AWS account. Then add willpower, faith (in yourself) and initiative and we're near enough ready to try a few things out! As ever, success and growth of an idea requires scaling up that needs to be analysed carefully, and that can be fun too!

    Best regards,

    Clive Johnson.
