  • Hello all,

    Here's a quick summary introduction:

    Name:  Carey Bunks

Brief career history: After receiving a PhD in Electrical Engineering, I worked for a dozen years in R&D in both academic institutions and industry.  I subsequently worked in technology and product team leadership, and then general management.  I'm currently bootstrapping an IoT startup.

What interests you about IoT: Starting an IoT company is full of challenges that include manufacturing, security, intellectual property protection, business development, and so much more!  I'm trying to learn about these things as quickly as possible.

Other interests:  I have many other interests, but my non-professional time is spent mostly playing jazz guitar and squash.
