  • Hi Alan,

Good to see you bring systems engineering to the cybersecurity discussion. I am currently doing a PhD in Automotive Cybersecurity, specifically looking at how operational practices in multi-organisational enterprises (viewed as a systems of systems) affect the security of the products and services that they create. I also volunteer with INCOSE UK MBSE Patterns working group in a related capacity. I'm taking a cross-industry perspective to studying best practice and will use knowledge gained to describe enabling patterns of best practice. I expect there to be substantial relevance to all industries, not just auto. It seems that there may be some good cross-over in our interests.

... I am keen to be part of the discussion on Cyber Securtiy and how it affects all of the connected and collaborative systems we engineer, and how to ensure these are safe, secure and fit for their intended purposes.
