Understanding the Culture of Engineering – Survey open until 27 January 2017

The Royal Academy of Engineering have launched a survey in order to gather the views of people currently working in engineering roles and on engineering projects.

Views will help inform an analysis of how close the sector is to achieving the vision, and how the Academy can support any necessary changes.

Their vision is of an inclusive engineering sector that inspires, attracts and retains people from diverse backgrounds and reflects UK society. This is because there is plenty of evidence demonstrating that diversity of background and experience is good for business, and that inclusive employers are more likely to attract and retain a diverse workforce. They are also more likely to create environments where all engineers feel welcome, and where different perspectives and experiences are valued and used to drive innovation and creativity.
