welcome NASA to Aberdeen

In Aberdeen Science Centre, and around Aberdeen city, join us 1-6 March to welcome NASA to Aberdeen. Space scientist Dr Sue Lederer and former astronaut Richard Heib will accompany us in a series of sessions, some for schools, some for community groups, and some for the public. of events designed to inspire the next generation. Rick and Dr. Lederer will also be joined by Hyang Lloyd, president and co-founder of the Scottish Space School Foundation USA who was part of the NASA team in the neutral buoyance underwater centre at Johnson Space Centre.
This is your chance to meet an astronaut and a space scientist who specialises in space debris (conducting hyper-velocity impact experiments on a regular basis)!
Public events are running on Friday 3 March, Saturday 4 March and Sunday 5 March.
