E&T's history of hacking

Came across this interesting article from E&T magazine on the history of hacking.

Quite a few surprising facts in there, including the fact that teenage boys used to be used as switchboard operators and that one of the first phone phreaks was a 7 year old boy!

Any key moments in hacking history that they missed?
