Do we have any professionally registered women in and around the Cheltenham area that could give a talk to an organisation? Or anybody that would be happy to travel to the area (within reason)?
The organisation are looking for somebody to talk about professional registration, the benefit that you have seen in becoming professionally registered and how the IET support women in engineering, in addition to how rewarding a career in engineering and technology can be.
The talk will be to a group of 100 women employees and some men, both engineers and non-engineers.
You would be required to provide a talk on 25th April that is targeted at the women in the department, who may be interested in taking up a professional challenge.
The organisation want to promote professional registration to their women employees. They would like to get the message across that the department encourages women to develop/progress in many ways.
