IET events / volunteer opportunity in Queensland

    Here are the details of the Industry Night - an event for all members.

    The IET On Campus at QUT (IET QUT) will be co-hosting their 2019 Semester 2 Industry Night with QUT Electrical Engineering Student Society (EESS) and QUT Aerospace Student Society on the 21st of August at The Warehouse, Fortitude Valley.
     
    The aim of our bi-annual industry night is to provide engineering students with greater exposure to industry pioneer. We believe that this will be a great opportunity for students to connect with industry guests, and companies also will benefit from meeting high achieving, passionate and soon-to-be graduates. 
    The evening will begin with short presentations from the co-hosts and sponsors, followed by three short rounds of trivia (one round per club), then the remainder of the night will be pure networking between students and industry guests. The evening will be fully catered, and beverages will be provided for all guests.  
     
    Event details
    Time: 5:30pm for 6:00 pm start - 9:30pm
    Date: Wednesday, 21st August 2019
    Location: The Warehouse – 8 MacLachlan St, Fortitude Valley
    Cost: $25 Per Representative, Free for IET Members

    5:30 - Arrival
    6:00 - Introduction presentations
    6:15 - Trivia rounds 
    7:30 - Networking
    9:00 - Closing presentation
