IET Electrical Systems in Transportation is a Gold Open Access journal that publishes research aimed at all aspects of electrical power systems in modern transport applications including generation, storage, distribution and utilisation.
IET Electrical Systems in Transportation is always eager to invite enthusiastic Associate Editors (AEs) to its Editorial Board with research interests that span the entire scope of the journal. Presently, we are seeking AEs with expertise in the areas of rail, in particular power management for rail vehicles, hybrid commuter rail transport, energy storage, electrical infrastructure for rail, power supply systems, regenerative power, and applied optimisation.
In addition to assisting the Editor-in-Chief in handling the peer-review process, the role of AE involves contributing to the development of the journal by suggesting suitable Special Issues, actively promoting the journal at conferences, seminars, workshops and other relevant events, and raising awareness about the journal to encourage further submissions.
AEs are also encouraged to contribute their own research or review papers to the journal, as well as encouraging colleagues and other contacts to do the same.
Individuals with significant research and publication experience in the above-mentioned areas and within the scope of the journal are now invited to apply to join the Editorial Board.
