I hope you are keeping well and safe.
The IET have let me know they are setting up a system of using Zoom to broadcast events. This is still ongoing as they are drafting the procedures over the next few weeks.
We already have two volunteers prepared to present.
I envisage that the event will be set up on the event calendar as usual and Plus! 4 events will be used to take registrations. The link to join the event will then be emailed out to the registrants for them to join. The link to join the event via Zoom will not be put on the event calendar page – it will only be available to registrants.
Once the event is live on the event calendar we will advertise it via email as usual.
The minutes from our last meeting haven’t been sent out as yet.
I am proposing to postpone our next committee meeting (usually held on the first Thursday of the month) and would like to suggest we use this time to share or encourage ideas for the committee using the Forum.
This is a new opportunity to try a method of sharing ideas but by using text.
