Good Morning

Hello All, My name's Dave McDougle, currently an Instrumentation Engineer going through a BEng in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, just completed the first two years and waiting for September to continue with the Honours section. I am aiming for professional registration in the near future as IEng, on the road to CEng eventually. I am also a TMIET, though hoping to upgrade this to MIET in the very near future.

I have been slightly active locally in attending seminars held by the BDAE at the Forum in Barrow, as well as a couple of radiation community events across the country, and hope to continue with these once the current crisis is over.

Hi Dave - I saw your introduction post earlier - sounds very interesting. I live in Bolton and work for VEGA - world leading manufacturer of Level and Pressure instruments. Please feel free to get in touch in you want any advice on level or pressure instrumentation, latest technologies, how they are used in particular applications etc. I have helped other students over the years with advice, and provided them useful info for their studies / application help during their work placements. As a start, here is a link which gives a good idea of where you would find level and pressure instruments on different areas of a manufacturing plant  https://www.vega.com/en/home_uk/industries . Some of the industries are 3D interactive, so are very informative for someone who is keen to learn more. Let me know what you think!
