Mr. Lim Yew-Kee CEng, MIET is a Technical Fellow at LogikHaus Sdn. Bhd. (previously known as Tauhop
Solutions), since 2012. A technology start-up company, focusing on video and image processing, DSP, FPGA, and ASIC.
He is an Industry/Community Advisory Panellist (ICAP) at Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), and an Adjunct Lecturer & External Examiner (Final Year Project, FYP) at Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP) Malaysia.
This book, “Overhead Electric Power Lines”, presents the technology and recent research into Overhead Lines (OHL) in a concise and systematic way.
The book’s ten chapters cover line support, foundation and mechanical sag, corona discharge, overhead line insulators and conductors, earthing and earth wire, lightning and surge protection, insulation and coordination, route selection, commissioning, operation and maintenance.
