Here goes.... I think this is a Question, but may well be a Discussion?

I am Logged in, my Profile is as was before and in Explore I am offered Wiring and the Regulations BS 7671 on top, plus some new sections. Cannot see General Chat or others that used to be.  Not sure where my previous contributions are, certainly not not here: "You should be able to find your past contributions by visiting your profile page, accessible via your avatar image in the top right corner. Your contributions should be listed under activity, blogs or questions."  I have not used the contact us link yet, but can try after Christmas.

Oddly(?) if i Search Ancient Mariner, I get just 14 results - I'm sure I posted much more than just 14?  If I Search Clive (I usually sign off as Clive) there are 273, but that includes articles such as the one about the late Clive Sinclair...

Whilst my Profile page indicates that I am a Member of the IET, my "badges" seem to have gone the way of my posts.

The above is just for starters I guess, but currently I do not appear to be seeing the names of posters that I have come to expect to be here. Hope they too are not lost in transit.

Seasons Greetings for Christmas and the New Year.

Clive

  • I cannot find a post posting edit button, so guess will have to reply.

I realised after posting that I should have searched for AncientMariner rather than Ancient Mariner, so I did. AncientMariner returned 48 results. Still a little low I think?

  • I like to see the name of the ORIGINAL poster at a post, NOT the name of the last respondent.

    Z.

  • How did you come across my post Z?

The only way I could find my original one when I wanted to add the bit about an edit button, was to use the link from the email I received from the IET.

In Search Discussions, I do not appear in the Author List in "Filter by author" and if I tick "My discussions" as I did two minutes ago, it says:

We've found 0 discussions for you, AncientMariner.

    Christmas Greetings
