MINDS is organising a half-day National Conference on Contributions to National Development by Malaysian Women Scientists and Inventors on 5 March 2022 via Online. This is the third Women’s Conference series organized by MINDS after the success of the two National Women Conferences held in 2019 and 2021 respectively.
The objectives of this Conference are to : (i) inspire female youth to pursue and excel in science, technology and social sciences; (ii) update the public on the contributions by eminent Malaysian Women Scientists, (iii) recognize the outstanding lifetime contributions of a Malaysian Woman Scientist with a Lifetime Scientific Research Achievement Award, (iv) encourage the development and contributions of an outstanding Young Malaysia Woman Scientist below 40 years with a Young Woman Scientist Award.
We have a line-up of eminent scientists speaking on a variety of topics such as Medical Microbiology, Biotechnology, Agriculture, Marine Biology, Communication in Science, Technology, Mathematical Sciences and Pharmaceutical Sciences.
