Interesting because IEA review of 2019 data for Portugal and the similar for Spain
still indicated a high oil dependence. I'm not too sure what has changed, except the oil price...
Interesting times
In southern Spain it has been policy for at least 20 years for all public buildings to have pv panels on their roofs. It is usual for surface car parks to have shelters (like a continuous car port) so you can park “out of the sun”. Many of these have pv panels e.g. the car park at Ikea Malaga.
