Lithium-Ion Battery Charging.

Apparently it is better not to charge Lithium-Ion batteries to 100 per cent. It is best to only charge them to 50 to 80 percent of full charge.

  • Most battery chemistries have some limitations like that - e.g some lead acid types are best not discharged below 50% - which does mean taking the headline Ah rating with a large pinch of salt.
