These crystals look to have remained where they were dropped as all the edges are still sharp. In the same way Ötzi could not have been moved by the glacier and remained intact. ( The museum is fascinating and well worth a visit if you are in the Sud Tyrol https://www.iceman.it/en/ )
If the glaciers are now exposing item that were covered 1000s of years ago does that mean that the temperatures were also similar to now at those times?
Tree stumps are also being exposed in other areas. These can be easily carbon dated.

Interestingly none of the articles are pushing global warming, Swiss Info is usually quite strong on it.
Is it because these events are looking at the real climate change that has taken place and is continuing to take place? How do our current climate change models explain these significant changes in the past? A tree went from strongly growing the buried in a glacier in 89 years (Iceland Review).
