West Central London Fixers CIC bring together volunteer repairers and the community to fix their electronics for free. The idea is to nurture repair culture in the community, rather than throwing away electronics – indeed e-waste has become a huge environmental problem. The events are open to volunteer learner repairers so are educational as well. We are currently running events in Hammersmith, North Kensington and Westminster and are in talks with Brent Council to run repair events there as well.
