Mitigating Corrosion Under Insulation on Pressure Equipment

I have been identifying locations on equipment affected by CUI damage, typically on piping systems and pressure vessels, developing repair plans and repairing equipment affected by this damage mechanism. I've been looking at mitigations and came across several action items I can implement including using a different type of insulation on these systems. What effects can I anticipate by using a material called cellular glass on equipment that cycles in temperature between100 degree F to 600 degree F.
