There will be a Dimensional control survey and metrology measurements done at the fabrication facility, but this is part of the fabricator scope. They would pass these results over to us to compare it with the post installation measurements. I'm looking for simplification in data formats for comparison in a common software platform such as Leica Cyclone or Cloud Compare. I wouldn't rule out Photogrammetry but a combination of this and LiDAR may be an option. There are various systems with 3D at Depth, Leica and Trimble on the market so looking for alternatives or something which can measure down to microns.
