I did notice that key point 1 was "incorrect" in that it fails to acknowledge that all the 'conventional' generators are major CO2 emitters and need to be "Net Zero'd".

I'm always cautious of any assertion of "true cost", given that what are considered costs are socially negotiated, and then the value of the tokens of wealth we call money are separately socially negotiated, it's all bit of smorgasbord. E.g. I did hear once of a senior electrical supply bod saying that nuclear decommissioning costs were irrelevant to cost arguments because they could be depreciated to zero, so plenty of financial engineering opportunities!
