Hi all, the Railway Technical Network and London Local Network are doing a collaborative event on wednesday 14th Jan at Savoy Place, London, where Viper Innovations will be bringing us up to speed on their CableGuardian system and its application on the UK rail network monitoring a range of parameters on lineside signalling power supplies.
You'll get insight of their background in Subsea umbilical monitoring and the transition and learning from the move to Railways and will get background in the latest development for IR, IC, V, I and realtime/live Spread-Spectrum Time Domain Reflectometry (SSTDR) monitoring. We'll see behind the scenes as to how the tech works and will then get some real examples of the benefits gained in terms of Periodic Inspection and Testing, proactive pre-failure intervention and asset management, failure identification and ongoing developments in overall testing of a full range or parameters for cable, transformer and switchgear testing and monitoring.
