Can IET supply copies of the recently updated BS7430 - 2026.

This document is referenced in BS7671 and BS7909 but the only place I can find it to buy is the BSI website at a cost of £348 for non members. Since this is an essential read for anyone wishing to comply with BS 7671 then surely it should be made avaiable throught the IET bookshop at the member price of £174. Even then this is still expensive !

    Same for many of the standards listed in Appendix 1 on BS 7671 (and there are a lot!). I share your frustration.

    Public libraries used to be one way of getting reasonable cost (if limited) access to British Standards (often free) - but many councils have been reducing that service to cut costs. (I've got an open enquiry with my local library on that very subject at the moment...)
