Saving Electricity. Nappies.

We are all aware of the need to economise to save the planet. Waste is inexcusable. Years ago mothers or nannies used to wash babies' nappies for reuse. Nowadays we use disposable babies' nappies. So, is it better to use washable reusable babies' nappies or to recycle disposable ones? Which is more environmentally friendly? Which uses less electricity and other limited resources?

As usual, the elephant in the room is the population growth rate (globally) - and the "westernisation" of that increasing population will exponentially increase the "first world" recycling problems

If you want to post "randoms" then maybe the Savoy Place Virtual Club is a better location
