Perhaps plugging appliances into an electrical installation is an extension of the installation, but I reckon that the more people that know of potentially dangerous appliances then fires and other disasters may be prevented.
Also we may obtain appliances for customers, and we must, I am sure, be vigilant so as to supply safe appliances and other electrical items. Electrical Safety First gives warnings about recalls and similar issues.
