    When you hit the reply button you can scroll down the compose window page and see the full topic thread too! Moving between the pages doesn't close the compose window either (the compose field stays at the top) so you should be able to refer to other posts within it. 


    Thanks for the shift click tip Alasdair Anderson‍ smiley I also use the good old right click and 'open link in new tab' feature in the browser quite a lot.


    Don't forget the quote tool in the editing tools as well, as that will help to format any text you input as a quote.
