Hi all, currently I have amtech software but it's only to 17th so a bit of a moot point. I was wondering how many of you use software on your PC or out in the field and if you have a preference if you could also give a brief description of your experience in a bullet point manner I would be greatful along with expected annual cost that would be great. I'm just hesitant in signing up with Amtech again.

I would like the ability to work upload download between desk pc and tablet/phone.

Regards

  • I've seen software for this purpose grow and grow with literally lists and lists of needless boxes to tick. Once they have you on their hamster wheel you have to keep running unless you revert back to hand-filling which is the way I do it. The original IET forms comprised of something like 4 or 5 sheets. Some of the latest stuff runs to 8 pages or more of needless padding just to make you think that you are getting value for money every time you renew your sub. I hand-fill, then scan and save. After this I just print off a paper copy for the customer.
