Sizing cable for forklift

Hi all, charger plate has following info;

230vac single phase

Rated at 44amps

Cable length will be 5 meters and method to be clip direct.

I'm thinking of using a 45amp rcbo, and a 4mm swa which gives me 49amps if clipped direct.

The thing that's putting me off is that the charger comes with a pre installed tail which looks like a 10 mm conductor size have I missed something here?

    Hi Broadgage,

    thanks for your reply, just thinking out loud here I suppose I can use a 50mcb rather than a rcbo because the cable will be swa surface clipped and terminated into a rotary isolator at point of use, with the charger terminated to the rotary isolator too. Would the system still be compliant to the 18th edition this way??
