Quick question on finding a regulation

I am sure someone knows this offhand.... What is the reg number in the blue book for requiring a CPC at every point on a lighting circuit even if ALL the luminaires are class II?

Managed to pass the 18th edition with flying colours but apparently since taking the exam, my ability to look things up has faded
  • 411.3.1.1

Last sentence. "A circuit protective conductor shall be run to and terminated at each point in wiring and at each accessory except a lampholder having no exposed-conductive-parts and suspended from such a point"

    Z.
  • Ditto (almost) under 412.2.3.2 just in case you considered the whole circuit to to give protection via double or reinforced insulation.

    412.1.2;412.2.3.2

I still need to take the 18th ed exam and this took me way too long to find ?

Also I sometimes find the index at the back more useful than the chapter info.

  • Thanks for the responses, I don't know why I couldn't find that :\\  It's guessing the correct phrasing to look for in the index mainly LOL
