P50 Fire Extinguishers.

These new fire extinguishers are able to be used on electrical fires even though they are a foam type. Has anyone used one, and if so do they work well? They apparently do not need a fire engineer to service them annually and they have a ten year life. I have no connection with the makers or sellers.

    The whole point of these plastic bodied designs is that they do not need a skilled 3rd party to perform inspections and instead are designed to last ten years of user self inspection, and then can be  sent back to be checked over and refilled for £120 apparently. Not sure how much not having the inspections saves, I imagine for many cases it is probably worthwhile. Not used them either, but have had the advert.
