Dimmer

I have downlights in my bedroom and I changed the switch to a dimmer switch.


Once I put the lights on the lights are really dim, and some don’t work, I’ve changed all the gu10 for newer dimmable lamps and it still doesn’t help. When I switch dimmer off and put it back on, the gu10s that were working, suddenly stopped working and others are working?! 

Any solutions?

    I have started using a trailing edge dimmer module which seem to fit most dimmer plates.

    You can programme them for min and max brightness.They are about £17 .0 at Toolstation.

    I have no connection with Toolstation.
