Tumble Dryer Fluff Build-up. Fire hazard.

I was amazed to see the amount of fluff build-up in the tumble dryer shown here at about 2 mins in onwards. But even more amazed at the end of the video when the service engineer shows the complete pile of fluff on a board at the end of the clip.

  • Why was it designed with a flexi hose inside the machine, which breaks down and leaks over time?  If they had used a rigid plastic pipe, and attached the hose to the back of the machine, then there wouldn't be a problem.
