  • What's the problem with pylons? Under each one of them is an area of unploughed land which provides a small oasis for wildlife.


    As far as insects are concerned, butterflies were all over the place 50 years ago - now it is unusual to see one in the garden. There are still bees of various types and enough pollinators to do the necessary to our fruit trees, so it isn't all doom and gloom.


    What would make me a happy man is getting rid of those badgers. ?
