Oven and Hob Wiring.

When an electric oven is in a kitchen base unit and the electric  hob is directly above it in the work surface I like to wire the hob in 4.0mm2 3183TQ heat resisting butyl flex. It is very easy to use and being heat resistant it is in my opinion ideal for that situation, as the flex sits on top of the oven housing.  Do others use this type of flex for hobs?
