MICC cable and earth tag

Good morning

Have you ever seen/used an earth tag ('banjo') used with a MICC cable gland fitted into a painted enclosure (no paint removal) - similar to the SWA approach ?

Thank you

  • The modern way is probably the  pirahna nut.   example here   Using a banjo sounds as you say, rather like an SWA kit re-purposed for pyro. - I suppose in some odd situations  it may make sense on a box that has an insulating coating that for some reason cannot be breached.   It is unusual,  I certainly don't think I have ever seen it, and would not be keen to do it.
