Just seen this and thought I'd share with you...


As part of the IET's 'Exploring the Archives' feature, my colleague Asha Gage‍ from the Archives Team gives us a quick look at an unusual item in the IET Archives. A tea towel from the 1970's made to help the public to understand the changes in wiring. ?

    I've got  a very old frequency counter with the colours red blue and green where did that combination come from.?  Red is phase blue neutral green earth When I got it it had an ancient 13 amp plug on which I changed to a 5 amp one
