Orange Alu Split Con

Hi All,

As per the title I need a 25m ish length of 25mm Orange Alu split con, cant seem to get it from the cable suppliers unless I order to be manufactured with crazy minimum order quantities.

Cant use standard Split con as it’s PVC and I need LSF for an escape route, cable forming part of a BNO replacing a degraded cotton service.

It’s only manufactured in 25 & 35mm apparently, could use either but prefer 25mm.

Anyone with a short length?

Cheers

    I can't help I'm afraid - but may I ask?

    Why Ali? (rather than Cu)

Why Split-con? (rather than LSF SWA for instance)

Why orange? (references to BS 1710 I think were dropped from BS 7671 years ago).

I'm sure there are good reasons - I'm just curious!

    Cheers Andy,

As far as I can see LSF Split con is only available in orange with Ali line & copper N&E, a DNO spec cable I believe.

As you know SWA is quite a bit larger and part of the route likely needs to go through an existing conduit plus terminating SWA at the flat end in to Henley head or the like is a chore and needs greater bending radius etc.

looking at redoing the whole BNO from cotton services so this might have to wait until I can get the meterage up to MOQ levels.
