Orange Alu Split Con

Hi All,

As per the title I need a 25m ish length of 25mm Orange Alu split con, cant seem to get it from the cable suppliers unless I order to be manufactured with crazy minimum order quantities.

Cant use standard Split con as it’s PVC and I need LSF for an escape route, cable forming part of a BNO replacing a degraded cotton service.

It’s only manufactured in 25 & 35mm apparently, could use either but prefer 25mm.

Anyone with a short length?

Cheers

    I'm not aware of my DNO using anything other than Al 3 core 95 mm2  "orange" for LSF services to their equipment "indoors". I've yet to see small single phase in use by the DNO. It is not liked due to its difficulty in use (bending, stripping, terminating).

    I cant say that I have seen it in use domestically, sadly this BNO is in an escape route for its entirety, couldn't tell you if existing mods are LSF or not, painted multiple times etc.

    Limited options really;

    1, Orange split con

    2, LSF SWA

    3, Re run the singles in existing conduits but they are just open ended conduits in the flats so  would need to find a compliant means of termination, maybe the head physically over the end on the conduit.

    Dont fancy pulling cables in to existing conduits with other cotton supplies...

    Cheers
